MFS Radhaballavi Mix is a popular ready-to-make spice blend from Bengal, used to prepare the flavorful stuffing for Radhaballavi (a dal-stuffed, deep-fried Bengali bread). It is commonly paired with spicy aloo dum (potato curry)
How to Use the Mix
- Make the Paste: Mix the MFS powder with water to form a thick paste and let it rest for 15 minutes.
- Temper: Sauté the paste in a pan with 2 teaspoons of oil over low heat.
- Stuff: Take portions of the dough, stuff them with the prepared dal mixture, seal, and roll them into rounds.
- Fry: Deep-fry in hot oil until golden brown and fluffy
